About Adasa: Faith & History
Adasa is one of the eight important Ganpati peeths in Vidarbha. The temple is famous for its large, single-stone idol of Lord Ganesha, believed to be self-manifested (Swayambhu).
🕉️ The Main Temple: A serene and powerful spiritual center. The temple architecture is old and has a calming aura.
🏛️ The Shamimians: Just a short distance away are the historical Shamimians (tombs of Bhosale dynasty rulers). It’s a unique blend of history and spirituality.
🙏 Perfect for Elders: The drive is short, and having a private cab means your parents or grandparents don’t have to walk long distances or wait for public transport.

FAQ Section
Q: How many steps are there at Adasa Temple? A: There are about 40-50 wide steps. It is an easy climb, but we recommend assistance for very elderly devotees.
Q: Is food available near the temple? A: Yes, the temple trust runs a “Mahaprasad” kitchen (check timings), and there are small snacks/tea stalls. For a proper meal, good restaurants are available on the main Katol Highway.
Q: Can we add Dragon Palace (Kamptee) to this trip? A: No, Dragon Palace is in the opposite direction (Jabalpur Road). Adasa is on Katol Road. We recommend combining Adasa with Dhapewada or Paradsinga (Anusaya Mata) instead.
